The first book launch for our book is on next week!

DATE/TIME: TUESDAY 21 May, 12pm AEST / 2pm NZST / 10am AWSTcheck what time it is for you!

VENUE: Online via Zoom

Please join us to celebrate the launch of our new book, Doing Doctoral Research at a Distance: Flourishing in Off-Campus, Hybrid, and Remote Pathways authored by Katrina McChesney, James Burford, Liezel Frick, and Tseen Khoo. It was published yesterday by Routledge Education. Excitement!

For the book launch, we are thrilled to have special guests Inger Mewburn (book launcher and creator of The Thesis Whisperer), Pat Thomson (Series Editor for the ‘Insider Guides to Success in Academia’ and creator of Patter) joining us for the event. We have also invited three wonderful doctoral students in to share experiences of doing their research at a distance – thank you, Jane Bushby, Dom Violi, and Bec Harrop!

All are welcome at the launch – come and help us celebrate! We’d love to see you in the room.

The book is now out and about so make sure your university librarian has ordered a copy, or use the discount code AFLY02 for a 20% discount on your own copy. One of the reasons we chose to write for this book series is the much more affordable cover price compared to most academic books – with the 20% discount code applied, you can get a paperback copy for NZ$35.99 / AU$31.99 or an eBook for around NZ$28 / AU$26.
